I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the field since 2011. I have worked in a variety of community mental health settings, primarily with children, adolescents, and their families. I also work with young adults. I am passionate about helping my clients to develop their own solutions to their challenges. I approach counseling with humor and compassion. I pull from many different areas in counseling including literature and popular culture to help make concepts applicable and understandable.
I am a mother, stepmother, a wife and a daughter. I was raised in Winston Salem. I attended UNC-Asheville for undergraduate and Appalachian State University for Graduate School. I enjoy hiking, birdwatching, riding horses, and being with my family in my spare time.
