About

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has been in the field since 2011. I have worked in a variety of community mental health settings, with children, adolescents, families and adults. I am passionate about helping my clients develop their own solutions to their challenges. I approach counseling with humor and compassion. I pull from many different areas in counseling including literature and popular culture to help make concepts applicable and understandable.

I am a mother, stepmother, a wife and a daughter. I was raised in Winston Salem. I attended UNC-Asheville for undergraduate and Appalachian State University for Graduate School. I enjoy hiking, birdwatching, riding horses, and being with my family in my spare time.
